impress lets see..... i had a long tiring day yet a funny day no details will be disclosed but it has link to IMPRESSION and IMPRESSING i was just wondering this to words come frm the same root word IMPRESS ritey but the meaning is different ritey? so i decided to check dictionary.com IMPRESSION noun 1.a strong effect produced on the intellect, feelings, conscience, etc. 2.the first and immediate effect of an experience or perception upon the mind; sensation. 3.the effect produced by an agency or influence. 4.a notion, remembrance, belief, etc., 5.an image in the mind caused by something external to it. 6.the act of impressing; state of being impressed. IMPRESSING verb 1.to affect deeply or strongly in mind or feelings; influence in opinion: He impressed us as a sincere young man. 2.to fix deeply or firmly on the mind or memory, as ideas or facts: to impress the importance of honesty on a child. 3.to apply with pressure, so as to leave a mark. one will be easily confused by this 2 words seems similar but to me its different impress people people form an impression on you let me ponder my thought are incoherant haa maybe im too tired haha! anws all i know is that ACTIONS need to be watched by self dont wanna go ard and give people an opportunity to form unecessary impression and spread things that aint true random note: haha i loveeeed project mtg today even though i was tired haha love fammy and jo and we webcam whored LOL pictures up soon haha and today is freezing cold and im home alone *boo* |
